31st Marie Claire Beauty Excellence Awards recognises industry talent

The 31st Marie Claire Beauty Excellence Awards has awarded a host of accolades to some of the industry’s best innovators, as judged by a panel of journalists from the beauty and fashion industry.

Marie Claire awarded 10 Excellence Awards during the ceremony, with products including a lipstick in a pen and a flexi-brush volumizing mascara. The awards recognize future best-sellers, as well as products that showcase ‘innovation, efficiency, audacity and pleasure,’ according to Marie Claire.

The panel of judges was chaired by Ariane Gold, Editor-in-Chief of Beauty/Health/Shape for Marie Claire, with Shiseido winning the Marie Claire Prix d’Excellence de la Beaute award for its Syncro skin lasting liquid formulation – it’s 12th time picking up the award.

Other winners included Estée Lauder, which scooped the accolade for beauty research and innovation thanks to its products, Advanced Night Repair Intensive Recovery Ampoules, Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery Powerfoil Mask, and the Revitalizing Supreme + Anti-aging Wake Up Balm.

Bridgitte Papin, Beauty Editor-in-Chief of Madame Figaro, said when presenting the award, “This is the wonder of ANR, with such unique scientific innovation and the ability 35 years after its creation to diversify with new products, which have the same level of creativity and interest.”
