Oriflame India is calling for education equality in a new campaign designed to tackle gender bias in India, according to a report published by The Drum.
The direct sales brand has teamed up with Brandmovers India to produce a short film starring Bollywood actor Kalki Koechlin. The film shows Koechlin discovering that the daughter of her housekeeper does not attend school, and providing her with educational materials, including teaching her to say ‘All I need is a chance’ in English.
“As a brand, Oriflame believes in sustainability and this film voices that sentiment. We truly hope the film strikes a chord with the audience and encourages them to make a beautiful change as well, in their own way,” Naveen Anand, Senior Director Oriflame South Asia told The Drum.
