THE WHAT? AmorePacific has launched a kiosk where shoppers can order a bespoke bath bomb, and watch it being made as they wait.
THE DETAILS Shoppers will complete a quick questionnaire to determine their preferences and needs, and the ‘bathbot’ will produce a bath bomb, selecting from a range of 14 bathing agents, including various different scents and colours, in the space of two minutes as the customer looks on.
Options include Sweet Floral, Forest Herb and Lavender, infused with argan oil and sweet almond oil to revitalize tired skin. Products come in eco-friendly, recycled paper packaging.
THE WHY? Custom products have been high on AmorePacific’s agenda for some time, with the K-beauty giant debuting its customized lip products at CES earlier this year. Could this interactive shopping experience be the key to tempting customers offline?
