AmorePacific Malaysia is predicting big things for its newly launched women’s skin care brand, Mamonde. The K-beauty giant’s wholly owned local subsidiary claims that the new-to-market label will contribute up to 20 percent of Malaysian sales in the space of just four years.
The brand’s official Malaysian launch took place on Friday at AEON at the One Utama Shopping Center.
AmorePacific is also rumored to be planning a dedicated Malaysian plant, with AP Malaysia General Manager Margaret Chin confirming the purchase of land in Johor for RM100 million, with a further RM500 million earmarked for the development of the new facility.
