American direct-selling company Amway has hired Mark Stevens, former Apple Vice President of Worldwide Sales, to the role of Chief Financial Officer.
Stevens will take over from Mike Cazer, who was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Amway in 2014.
Stevens will be responsible for leading Amway’s worldwide financial functions, including financial planning and reporting, accounting, forecasting, internal audit, insurance, treasury and tax.
Prior to his new appointment, Stevens was responsible for a US$153bn portfolio at Apple, representing 90 percent of the company’s revenues outside of Apple stores.
Stevens has devoted much of his career working for technology companies. He spent 21 years of his career working in Asia for Motorola and Dell.
He graduated from Hope College in Holland, before completing an MBA from DePaul University.
Stevens is a Certified Public Accountant.
