The Angola government’s Ministry of Industry has revealed that there are 47 registered manufacturing units producing cosmetics, personal care and cleaning products across the country.
Bernarda Matins, Minister of Industry met with product manufacturers in Luanda on Friday, yet highlighted that out of 47 registered companies, only 11 are in full operation.
To support Angola’s manufacturing industry, Matins announced that the ministry will be providing greater support for entrepreneurs operating within the sector.
Matins commented, “We are holding these meetings to encourage more industrials to do more to promote their activity and show that the industry is ready to work with these entrepreneurs and above all suggest the creation of associations in these activities.”
“With these meetings, there have emerged some associations in the subsector of construction materials, beverages and now we met with this association that is being created and I believe everything has to go further.”
