THE WHAT? Asket, a Stockholm-based company, has introduced an “impact receipt” for its garments, detailing environmental data such as carbon emissions, water use, energy consumption, and the impacts of shipping and packaging.
THE DETAILS Founded eight years ago initially for men’s wear and expanded to women’s in 2021, Asket maintains a limited collection that changes slightly each year with a focus on durability and developed their impact receipt over three years in partnership with Vaayu Tech.
THE WHY? Asket’s purpose is to inform consumers about the environmental impact of their purchases, and its business approach, rooted in minimalism and sustainable consumption, is supported by its strategy of gradual expansion, which includes opening new stores and forming strategic partnerships.
