THE WHAT? Avon has entered the CBD market with the launch of its new CBD-infused facial oil, Green Goddess. 

THE DETAILS Sustainably sourced, vegan, fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, and dermatologist-tested, the oil contains 99 percent natural ingredients, including CBD, hemp, sunflower and jojoba seed oils, turmeric and squalene oil. It is said to help soothe stressed out skin. 

Only available via a representative, the packaging is FSC-certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, meaning the paperboard is sourced from sustainably managed forests.

THE WHY? Avon is no doubt looking to capitalize on the growing consumer appetite for CBD skincare products, with the company highlighting that the ingredient is well known for therapeutic benefits such as relieving irritation, reducing redness and skin discomfort.
