B.well Connected Health closes US$16 million funding round

THE WHAT? b.well Connected Health has announced that it has closed a US$16 million Series A investment round led by UnityPoint Health Ventures.

THE DETAILS Other investors include ThedaCare and Walgreens Boots Alliance subsidiary, Well Ventures.

THE WHY? The platform’s bespoke health care offer includes a digital wallet and prescription ordering function as well as matching users with health care services – which could prove lucrative for the pharmacy channel.
