THE WHAT? Bahl & Gaynor has upped its stake in Inter Parfums. The investment firm filed documents with the US Securities and Exchange Commission revealing that it now owns 255.736 shares, up 12.5 percent.
THE DETAILS Bahl & Gaynor’s total stake in the manufacturer of Jimmy Choo and Montblanc fragrances now stands at 0.8 percent and is valued at US$36.376,000.
THE WHY? Not only has the fragrance market seen a significant sales uptick over the course of the year following the revival of the travel retail market but Inter Parfums has beaten analyst expectations and is expected to deliver strong growth for the current financial year.
