Founded by leading names in the cosmetics industry, beauty and personal care company Batallure Beauty has launched new global beauty distribution company Butterfly Beauty.
Batallure Beauty was originally co-founded by Robin Burns-McNeill, who has served as CEO and President at Calvin Klein Cosmetics, Estee Lauder and Victoria’s Secret Beauty, and Sam Ghusson, who held executive positions in supply chain management at Calvin Klein Cosmetics, Unilever, Elizabeth Arden, Victoria’s Secret Beauty, Bath & Body Works and Gryphon Development.
The co-founders have now launched Butterfly Beauty, which develops, markets and distributes fashion, luxury and lifestyle beauty brands globally. The company collaborates with brands in creating and marketing prestige fragrance, color cosmetics, facial skin care, body care, hair care, home fragrance and personal care products.
Butterfly Beauty’s brand portfolio currently includes Derek Lam, Derek Lam 10 Crosby, Elizabeth and James, and Robert Graham. Butterfly Beauty will manage the global distribution of Elizabeth and James fragrances in partnership with Kendo Beauty Brands and the Elizabeth and James fashion brand, founded by Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen.
The company will begin distributing the Elizabeth and James NIRVANA fragrances in late 2015 and early 2016. Sephora distribution will continue to be managed by Kendo Beauty Brands.
In addition, Butterfly Beauty will introduce a Derek Lam 10 Crosby women’s fragrance collection and a Robert Graham men’s fine fragrance collection, both in early Spring 2016.
Selected to lead Butterfly Beauty, LLC is General Manager Ginny Wright. Prior to joining Butterfly Beauty, Wright was with L’Oreal USA for more than 6 years where she led several divisions and beauty categories, working with many of L’Oreal Luxe’s signature European designer brands, including Viktor & Rolf and Diesel.
