Cult skincare brand Nivea has launched its first flagship store in an outlet close to Rome, with architect Matteo Thun & Partners taking control of the design and build of the shop.
Working closely together the two companies have created a space that took inspiration from the iconic blue Nivea logo with interiors being designed in blue and white. There are no advertisements within the store as lifestyle images are used to represent the brand’s ethos and values.
Matteo Thun said, “A concept that fully reflects the soul of this iconic brand. The store is just the stage for the products – the product is the hero!”
There is modular shelving which gives a modern approach to the displays and allows for visually creative product placement.
