Beiersdorf names first cohort of K-beauty start-ups for incubator program

Beiersdorf has announced the five K-beauty start-ups it has selected for its Seoul-based accelerator program, according to a report published by The Investor.

The German manufacturer of Nivea will welcome Internet of Things specialist Reziena, Glowhill brand owner Mesquare, salon and spa products supplier Limese, review app LYCL and rice flour soap producer PANDA to its newly launched innovation hub in the city.

Beiersdorf is said to have received some 200 applications for the program, which is part of its Open Innovation initiative.
