British brands accounted for more than 70 percent of the winners announced at CEW’s annual Beauty Awards on Friday.
The annual awards, now in its 11th year, welcomed a record number of entries, with 350 brands entering across 27 categories.
Make-up brand Charlotte Tilbury made history, picking up a record four gongs at the celebratory Awards lunch, while Liz Earle’s now infamous Hot Cloth Cleanser was named Best Classic Beauty Product Prestige for the fifth year in a row.
President of CEW, Caroline Neville said, “We are so pleased to have received a record number of entries in 2016 and are delighted with the winning products. The CEW Beauty Awards winning seal continues to bolster the credibility of brands and products across the world and we’re excited for what the future holds.”
