Benefit has teamed up with facial recognition expert and neuroscientist Dr David Sadr to create a new microsite said to be able to interpret how a person is feeling by analysing their eyebrows.
The Brow Translator, as the site is known, uses facial recognition analysis and machine learning to reveal what the person’s brows are saying about their innermost thoughts.
Users can capture or upload a photo to the LVMH-owned brand’s new site and a translator algorithm will convert the expression into text, exhibited in a speech bubble. Users can then share the results on social media, using the hashtag #benefitbrows.
