Aldi supermarket has relaunched its Lacura beauty range after receiving such high consumer demand for the mass-market products.
Initially launched as an alternative to more premium products, budget supermarket chain Aldi saw its products quickly sell out online and in-stores, and has now relaunched the range back in store and on its website.
The move to make the range available again highlights the strong lure for mass-market supermarket own-brands within the UK, with the Lacura line featuring products such as a CC Colour Correcting Stick Set, mascara, and BB Cream, with products starting at just £2.99.
Described as being cheaper alternatives to items such as Max Factor’s correcting pens, YSL’s Touche Éclat Highlighting Pen and L’Oréal’s True Match powder, the range is the latest launch from supermarkets looking to pull in consumer’s seeking premium products at a lower price range.
