Camlin Fine Sciences and its subsidiary CFS Europe have jointly acquired a 51 percent stake in Ningbo Wanglong Flavors and Fragrances, according to a report published by Equity Bulls.

The move makes Camlin Fine Sciences the world’s third largest vanillan producer. The new entity will be known as CFS Wanglong.

“With our manufacturing facilities spread across four continents, China will further boost CFS’ access into the global market. Our Flavour & Fragrances segment will contribute to a large proportion of our business in the near future,” said the company in a statement. “This robust step of partnering with Wanglong will ensure supply of high quality vanillan and will benefit CFS’ customers across the globe.”
