Carat retains AU$40 million L’Oréal account

Carat Australia has prevailed in a competitive pitch for the AU$40 million L’Oréal account, according to a report published by Ad News.

The agency, who has handled the L’Oréal account since 2013, competed against Zenith and GroupM-owned Wavemaker.

The account covers media buying, planning and strategy as well as search and performance for the French beauty giant’s stable of brands, and covers both the Australian and New Zealand markets.

“What this means is that we’re going to be bolstering our digital, data and analytics capability in line with their data journey and e-commerce plans,” Joseph Pardillo, Carat Melbourne Managing Director, told Ad News. “We’ve got a very strong foundation and operational team and infrastructure already servicing the business. This is a great win for the team and all of their hard work.”
