THE WHAT? Chanel has announced the appointment of make-up artists Ammy Drammeh, Cécile Paravina and Valentina Li as Global Creative Make-Up Partners, according to Dazed.
THE DETAILS The women will join the Cometes Collection, which are said to be a group of ‘emerging talents shaping the future of beauty.’
THE WHY? Drammeh, Paravina and Li will help steer Chanel’s color cosmetics range, as well as guide the development of new collections.
Chanel said in a statement, “Each member of this collective has been chosen for their vibrant and singular vision of beauty as well as their values that resonate with those of Chanel.
“Together, they will add a pioneering new chapter to the House’s tradition of exploring the way women see themselves.” The first Cometes Collective collections will launch in January 2024.”
