Chanel continues pop-up trend with arcade-themed store in Kuala Lumpur

Chanel has launched an arcade-themed pop-up store in Kuala Lumpur, Coco Game Centre, which offers consumers products and experiential experiences.

The store is the latest pop-up store to be launched within the beauty industry and is located in Jalan Sultan Ismail, with pre-registration required.

Open from 28th April to 13th May, the center features games such as Daytona racing and Pacman, with interactive experiences such as a one-of-a-kind claw machines that allows consumers to win Chanel products.

The pop-up store launched with a strong Instagram presence in order to generate a social media buzz.

Once consumer comment read, “Playing with my favorite makeup at Chanel’s dream arcade.How crazy cool is #COCOGAMECENTER ?! You can check out the latest makeup must haves at the pop-up in Hongdae. My favorite lip blush is #410.”
