Duke Street Capital owned Original Factory Shop has had a hit of success thanks to the demand for its new fragrance, Opulance, said to smell more than a little similar to Chanel No 5.
The retailer is said to be achieving an annual turnover of around £200 million, which will no doubt be boosted thanks to the recent success of the £5 fragrance that has a likeness to the iconic Chanel fragrance.
Only launched this week, the company states that the fragrance has “top notes of florals and citrus, middle notes of rose and jasmine and base notes of vanilla and a woody aroma. These all complement each other to give a fascinating, warm, enveloping fragrance that gives you the feel of luxury at a fraction of the price.”
The Original Factory Shop is a value retailer with over 200 stores across the UK. Owned by Duke Street Capital, the company aims to open at least another 15 stores a year across the UK, driving multi-channel sales.
