THE WHAT? Clarins has announced that Danyelle Boilard-Paul, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Clarins USA is leaving the company on August 31, 2021, after 19 years to pursue new opportunities.
THE DETAILS The French beauty brand names Lionel Uzan, General Manager of Clarins Canada as her successor, effective September 1, 2021.
“Danyelle has played an integral role in overseeing and managing the US subsidiary and the ever-changing evolution of its business, driving the digitalization of Clarins in the market. She has been a very committed partner to the Brand, and we want to express our sincere gratitude to Danyelle for her solid contribution,” said Jonathan Zrihen, Clarins Global CEO.
THE WHY? Uzan has spent 17 years in the United States, most recently heading the Clarins Fragrance Group division and his deep knowledge of the company, visionary leadership and extensive experience in marketing and general management will stand him in good stead to further develop Clarins’ presence in North America, the company said.
