Dermatological brand Clean & Clear was originally created by Revlon in 1956. The range was relaunched as anti-acne line by Johnson & Johnson following its acquisition of the brand in 2000.

Clearly intent on targeting the right audience, Clean & Clear continued its attention on the teen market in 2018, with Johnson & Johnson joining forces with YouTube stars Brooklyn and Bailey McKnight to create a Gen Z focussed range, C&C by Clean & Clear.
