Colgate-Palmolive India has appointed Anushka Sharma as brand ambassador for its Colgate Active Salt toothpaste, according to a report published by Zee News.

The Bollywood actor will star in a new TV spot to promote the product, which is said to help prevent cavities thanks to its salt content.

“Colgate Active Salt is known for its modern, assertive, smart and confident image hence we are extremely excited to bring on board Anushka Sharma who perfectly personifies the brand,” said Eric Jumbert, Marketing Director for Colgate-Palmolive India.
