Colgate-Palmolive is set to add the How2Recycle Label to packaging as part of its overarching sustainability mission, according to a report published by Recycling Today.

“We’re thrilled a company with such large international reach is committed to communicating accurate, harmonized recycling instructions on package,” Caroline Cox, Project Associate at How2Recycle told Recycling Today.

“People reply on Colgate-Palmolive not only to provide them with great products but also to be transparent with the information we provide,” added Anne Bedarf, Packaging Sustainability Manager for Colgate-Palmolive.

The label will first appear on Colgate’s Suavitel fabric conditioner and Softsoap Earth Blends hand soap, among others.
