Collcap and Quadpack Industries have merged to become a leading force in the manufacture and supply of beauty packaging. The new combined entity will be known as Quadpack Industries.

The group’s UK operations will be based at Collcap’s Staffordshire offices, while Quadpack’s Barcelona office will take on the mantle of global headquarters. Collcap Founder John McDermott will become a member of the Quadpack Industries board.

McDermott said, “Both Collcap and Quadpack are healthy, thriving companies which, together, boast increased market share, resources and purchasing power and, by consequence, competitive edge. Add to that our strengths in market knowledge, product development, creativity and technical expertise, and you have a winning formula.” 

Added Quadpack CEO Tim Eaves, “Collcap and Quadpack have had a long-standing relationship of mutual respect. Our values, our mentality, our structure, our processes – they all coincide. We each enjoy a loyal client base. We have a shared vision for the future. We’re a hand in glove fit.” 

The merger forms part of Quadpack’s overall strategy for inorganic growth, which saw the international packaging firm acquire Rinaplast earlier this year. The group is gearing up to an IPO within the next two years.
