Coty has been announced as one of the Principal Partners of an exhibition due to debut at London’s Somerset House tomorrow.
Perfume: A Sensory Journey Through Contemporary Scent, as the exhibition is called, explores today’s scent scene through the work of 10 perfume pioneers who have influenced the market over the last 20 years.
As an introduction to 21st-century developments, the exhibition kicks off with an overview of 20th-century perfumery, highlighting a single scent that embodies each decade, starting with Coty’s L’Origan de Coty, which the company recreated exclusively for the exhibition, and ending with another blockbuster from the US fragrance giant, CK One.
“Coty is on a mission to bring back the magic of fragrance,” said Alexis Vaganay, General Manager, Coty Luxury, UK & Ireland. “Francois Coty invented the modern prestige perfume and beauty industry and Coty has accumulated unique savoir-faire in fragrances that contributes to our category leader position. We also have an outstanding portfolio of brands and products which enables us to offer the more relevant propositions to our consumers.”
The exhibition runs until September 17.
