Coty expands Executive Committee as Princess Anna of Bavaria joins firm

THE WHAT? Having recently announced the appointment Sue Y Nabi as CEO, Coty has named two new members of its Executive Committee. Princess Anna of Bavaria is joining the company as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and will sit on the executive committee with fellow new member and Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel, Kristin Blazewicz.

THE DETAILS Journalist and author, Princess Anna of Bavaria is a journalist ‘brings a unique understanding of both the beauty industry and the communications landscape’ to her new role, the US beauty behemoth said in a statement.

“I am thrilled to be a part of this next generation of leadership at Coty, guiding the team through a time of fundamental change,” commented von Bayern.

Kristin Blazewicz joined Coty in March, 2020 from Keurig Dr Pepper and ‘brings a wealth of senior experience essential to Coty’s business’ to the position.

THE WHY? Effective September 1, 2020, the Executive Committee will comprise five members, three who identify as female, a significant improvement on the equality front for Coty. We note, however, that the Executive Committee and Senior Leadership Team remains overwhelming Caucasian.
