Coty makes new leadership appointment to help ‘support turnaround plan and future growth’

WHAT? Coty has announced the appointment of Kristin Blazewicz as Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Secretary of the Board of Directors; she will also join the company’s Executive Committee.

THE DETAILS Effective March 15th, Blazewicz is being tasked with helping the company’s turnaround plan as well as supporting future growth. Based in Amsterdam, Blazewicz will report to Pierre Laubies, CEO, and will succeed Greer McMullen.

Laubies said, “Kristin’s deep expertise in Legal affairs and track record of success will be a great addition to the Coty Executive Committee, and we are looking forward to having her on board soon.”

THE WHY? Offering ‘senior global experience in the Legal field and over a decade of in-house and law firm background’, Blazewicz will oversee Coty’s global legal work, with the company stating there will be a strong focus on a “transformation towards a better and healthier business from a Legal perspective.”
