CoverGirl breaks into skin care with launch of Clean Fresh line

THE WHAT? Coty-owned CoverGirl has announced the launch of its first skin care collection. Clean Fresh Skincare, as the new line has been dubbed, is described as a 100 percent vegan and clean range proven to visibly improve the look of skin.

THE DETAILS The new line comprises five products, a cleanser, priming glow mist, weightless water cream, mattifying moisturiser and dry skin corrector cream and is formulated with 90 percent naturally derived ingredients.

THE WHY? Andrew Stanleick, Executive Vice President, North America at Coty, explains, “CoverGirl is an icon in the make-up aisle with a deep heritage in skin-forward products, so breaking into the skin care category is a natural evolution for the brand. We know consumers are more skin-aware than ever and want ingredient-conscious products at an accessible price point.
