Croda is said to be embarking on a major investment program which will see the specialty chemicals firm double its output from its Oak Road site in Hull, according to a report published by the Hull Daily Mail.
“I’m waiting to see the final details but I very much welcome this vote of confidence by Croda in Hull,” Hull North MP Diana Johnson told Hull Daily Mail.
Croda is reported to be budgeting £27 million to significantly increase production of polymer additives and potentially create new jobs, as part of a wider strategy to invest in faster growth markets.
