THE DETAILS Busquets has 30 years’ experience in the luxury fashion industry, having co-founded Net-a-Porter as well as investing in companies such as The Business of Fashion, Lyst, Farfetch, Maison De Mode, and Moda Operandi.
THE WHY? Busquets has been appointed at a time of growth for Cult Beauty. The company is looking to capitalize on its boom in e-commerce, bolstered by the pandemic, with online retail ‘propelling an 134% increase in new customers from April to July 2020.’
