THE WHAT? Diptyque Americas has named Jessie Dawes as Chief Marketing Officer, according to a report published by Retail Dive. Dawes joins the luxury candle brand from Shiseido Americas where she held the role of Vice President of Integrated Marketing and Consumer Engagement for Shiseido and Cle de Peau Beaute brands.
THE DETAILS In her new role, Dawes will oversee marketing, PR and comms for the French home fragrance label in the Americas. The newly created role is part of Diptyque’s wider drive to expand in the region.
THE WHY? Julien Gommichon, President of Diptyque Americas said in a statement, per Retail Dive, “[Dawes} will be focused on driving brand awareness and loyalty, and leading marketing strategy and marketing effectiveness in the Americas. Jessie’s omnichannel and consumer-centric approach will enable us to engage consumers and fuel brand growth across all of our points of distribution, digital and in-store.”
