Diptyque Paris looks to attract younger audience with launch of scented temporary tattoos

Diptyque Paris has announced the launch of a range of scented temporary tattoos as part of its new Prêts-à-Parfumer collection.

More commonly known for its range of scented candles and fragrance products, the luxury French brand is said to be looking to attract a younger audience with the new range.

Alongside the scented tattoos the Prêts-à-Parfumer collection includes perfumed jewellery in the form of a bird brooch and braided thread bracelet.

Said to be similar to ‘mobile diffusers’, the temporary tattoos come in baroque-style motifs in the Do Son, Eau Rose and l’Ombre dans l’Eau scents.

Speaking to WWD.com, Julien Gommichon, President of the Americas for Diptyque, said, “It’s part of our DNA and heritage to create playful new perfume gestures.”

Available via Dipyque stores and on diptyqueparis.com the Prêts-à-Parfumer collection will launch in early September.
