Doosan embraces late-night shopping with new duty free store

Doosan Group has cut the ribbon on a new Doota Duty Free store, housed in the Doosan Tower Building, eastern Seoul, according to a report published by the Korea Times.

The seven-storey Dongdaemun store will be Korea’s first duty free store to open after hours, with certain levels open until 2am. Late-night shoppers will be offered a five percent discount on their purchases and transportation costs will be covered by the store.

The 16,825 square-meter space stocks some 500 brands, including leading international cosmetic and fragrance brands such as Estée Lauder and L’Oreal, and homegrown talent LG Household & Health Care, Innisfree, It’s Skin and TonyMoly.
