THE WHAT? Creditors of bankrupt firm Dzintars have submitted claims for some €16.96 million, according to a report published by Baltic News Network.
THE DETAILS Guaranteed creditors’ claims totalled €4.02 million while non-guaranteed creditors’ claims came to €12.94 million.
Creditors whose claims do not exceed more than 1 percent of all recognized claim amounts are being encouraged to group together and appoint a representative.
THE WHY? Debts have built up as Dzintars’ traditional market, sales and turnover was hit by the 2008 and 2014 crises making the firm unable to ride this most recent period of uncertainty.
