EDITED raises US$29 million to help retailers fight COVID-19 disruption with data

THE WHAT? Retail decision platform EDITED has received significant investment to help the world’s largest retailers maximise profitability and reduce risks during uncertainty.

THE DETAILS The world’s largest source of real-time product data, which counts John Lewis, Zara and BooHoo among its clients has raised US$29 million in growth equity funding. The round was co-led by Wavecrest Growth Partners and Beringea UK, with participation from Hermes GPE.

The capital will be used to expand product innovation, accelerate hiring and expand the company’s global presence.

THE WHY? Deepak Sindwani, Managing Partner at Wavecrest Growth Partners explains, “During these uncertain times, retailers and brands need real-time data more than ever. We believe EDITED provides an essential data and business intelligence platform to enable customers to make the most profitable design, pricing, product and supply chain decisions.”
