Elizabeth Arden appoints Adeola Ariyo as African Ambassador

Elizabeth Arden has appointed Nigerian model Adeola Ariyo as its first ever African Ambassador.

The announcement follows the official launch of the full Elizabeth Arden cosmetics range in Nigeria last week. However, Ariyo will represent the brand not just in Nigeria but across Africa, and will take over from South African Ambassador Lerato Moloi.

Ariyo, aged 28, has graced the runways of London Fashion Week, Cape Town Fashion Week, Johannesburg Fashion Week, Arise Fashion Week Lagos and Mozambique Fashion Week. She has also been featured in fashion magazines across South Africa, such as Cosmopolitan, Elle, Marie Claire, Glamour, True Love and Fair Lady.

Ariyo will feature in Elizabeth Arden campaigns for Skin Illuminating, Visible Difference and Perfectly Nude SPF15.

Ariyo commented, “When I heard that Nigeria was one of the African countries Elizabeth Arden was expanding in, I got very excited.”

“Not only is Nigeria my home country, and therefore very close to my heart, but it is also a country where women are empowered and driven. And these are values that are core to the Elizabeth Arden brand” she added.
