Elizabeth Arden completes its leadership transformation with new President, Global Fragrances

Elizabeth Arden has announced the appointment of George Cleary as President, Global Fragrances.

Cleary started his career at Nestle before moving into the personal care and beauty industry with sales and management positions at Johnson & Johnson, then transferring to Coty, where he held several senior positions, including President, Americas. His most recent role was CEO of beauty device company Illuminage.

“Given George’s successful track record, and his direct, relevant experience in the beauty business, I expect George to make a big impact on our global fragrance business.” commented E. Scott Beattie, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer at Elizabeth Arden. “With George’s appointment, the leadership transformation to a brand-led structure within Elizabeth Arden is now complete, and our collective focus is on revenue acceleration and margin expansion.”
