Estée Lauder has appointed French make-up artist Violette – who goes only by her first name – as its new Global Beauty Director.
Violette, who takes over from Tom Pecheux who joined YSL earlier in the year, has had a wealth of experience with roles such as Brand Spokesperson for La Mer, a consultant for Dior and has a strong social media following in the likes of Instagram and YouTube where she showcases her beauty style.
As part of her role, Violette will work on product development, digital content creation, education and training.
Violette says, “I am so honored to work with the Estée Lauder brand. Estée was such a visionary and is still an inspiration for women today. She understood beauty is a way of expressing yourself, a way to celebrate femininity. And that is also my philosophy. I can’t wait to connect with women everywhere as part of this brand and take them on this journey with me.”
