Estée Lauder appoints new marketing execs in a bid to boost new strategy

Estée Lauder has appointed Matthew Parr as Senior Vice President, Global Creative Director while Marie Han Silloway as announced as Senior Vice President, Global Consumer Marketing.

The new appointments signal the beauty brand’s commitment to deliver on its new strategy to focus on the millennials, with the new staff expected to bring new marketing ideas to the table.

Global Brand President Stephane de la Faverie said of the appointments, “Both Marie and Matthew are visionaries who will bring new perspectives to communicating and connecting with our consumers around the world, including unique, dynamic and disruptive experiences.”

Parr, who previously worked on the MAC brand, will be succeeding Richard Ferretti and taking the lead on the brand’s creative direction. Meanwhile Sillowa will be undertaking a newly created role and will look after social and digital media, consumer marketing and engagement, promotions and ominchannel focus.
