The Estée Lauder Companies has announced an enhanced family-benefits program for employees, which includes expanding its paid parental leave duration to 20 weeks.
Effective May 1st, 2018, employees that are based in the US, full time, and have served more than 90 days continuous service, will receive new and enhanced programs, policies and benefits such as an enhanced flexible working policy for parents returning to work, with additional policies added in relation to adoption, child and elder care, as well as infant transition support.
The new adoption program offers eligible employees the opportunity to seek reimbursement up to $10,000 for ‘eligible expenses related to the legal adoption of a child under the age of 18, or older if it’s a special needs adoption.’
The new policies are offered to all ELC employee irrespective of gender and are said to be among the most comprehensive in the US.
