Estée Lauder Companies Group President, North America Chris Good to retire

THE WHAT? The Estée Lauder Companies has announced the retirement of Chris Good, Group President, North America, effective 30 June, 2022. 

THE DETAILS Good has been with the company for 25 years, and for the past five years has led ELC’s North America business in a ‘highly complex, competitive, and fast-evolving prestige beauty landscape.’

According to a company press release, Good oversaw the region’s pivotal retail and organizational transformation, establishing critical capabilities to drive growth and operational efficiencies.

The exec also helped navigate the North American business back to growth in fiscal 2021 following the pandemic. 

Good will support his successor, to be announced shortly, to enable a smooth and successful transition. 

THE WHY? Leaving the company to enter into retirement, Fabrizio Freda, ELC President and CEO, said of Good, “Chris is a visionary, global leader who is deeply admired at ELC and recognized across the beauty industry worldwide. With his extensive international background, Chris’ leadership agility and deep insights into our diverse markets and consumers around the world have made an indelible impact on our business.”
