THE WHAT? Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) is due to put its UK media planning and buying account up for review, according to a report by Campaign Live.
THE DETAILS It has not been announced whether current agency Manning Gottlieb OMD, as well as Dentsu Aegis Network’s Merkle, which handles part of the account, will compete once again for the business.
THE WHY? The ELC account changed hands from now defunct M2M to Omnicom’s Manning Gottlieb OMD in 2016. ELC has cut profit forecasts for 2020 due to the coronavirus outbreak, however, it is not known whether this has prompted the review.
