Estée Lauder has announced the second phase in its partnership with AR specialist ModiFace – the launch of an online conversational lipstick advisor to help guide customers to their perfect lip shade.
The new Facebook Messenger-based lipstick chat bot will complement the brand’s existing augmented reality try-on facility.
Estée Lauder customers will be able to search for and try on the brand’s full assortment of lipsticks in virtual reality as well as take a quiz to receive personalized shade recommendations based on the user’s color and finish preferences. Users will also be able to search for a shade of lipstick to match a photo of any object.
