Estée Lauder has selected a diverse range of spokespeople to front its latest foundation campaign, Double Wear or Nothing, according to a report published by The Metro.
The line-up includes the brand’s first ever global ambassador of Indian origin, blogger Kavita Cola as well as actress Aissa Maiga, Lauder Global Beauty Director Violette and Fashion Director Grace Lam. Each is featured in a video clip talking about their beauty needs.
With a dedicated following, Cola boasts a specific fan-base of British-Asians looking to her to recommend products and techniques for their skin tones: “dark circles are the beauty thing I get asked about the most. It’s the one thing that you’re really prone to with darker skin tones”, she reveals.
Lauder’s diverse choice of models serves to highlight the breadth of its Double Wear foundation range, which is available in 50 shades – touted by the brand as ‘all skintones’ as well as the longevity of coverage, with Lauder claiming that it will stay in place for 24 hours.
