Estee Lauder takes its breast cancer campaign virtual

THE WHAT? The Estee Lauder Companies’ signature brand is hosting a virtual breast self-check as part of its Breast Cancer Awareness Month initiative.

THE DETAILS The Time to Unite live stream, which takes place this evening at 7pm, will be open to all and hosted by Alesha Dixon, with special guests including UK-based General Practitioner, Dr Zoe Williams, who will guide viewers through a breast check and Global Brand Ambassador, Elizabeth Hurley.

In addition, there’ll be stories from survivors and expert advice – with panellists Leanne Pero (Black Women Rising), Helen Addis (Change and Check), Lauren Mahon (You, Me and the Big C) and Kris Hallenga (CoppaFeel!).

THE WHY? The Time to Unite event was planned following research conducted by Lauder which revealed that one in five women have deprioritised their breast health and are less likely to seek help due to the pandemic.
