THE WHAT? Feelunique has reported record breaking full year results to 29th March, with total sales of £103.5 million, up 26 percent YOY.
THE DETAILS The online beauty ecommerce platform reported marketplace sales growth of 695 percent. Marketplace sales now account for two percent of its business, with 800 brands selling 12,000 products.
Citing a 42 percent increase in active customers to 1.3 million, the company’s larger retail sales business grew by 24.4 percent.
Reported earnings before EBITDA went into profit, reaching £2.5 million, up £7.5 from the previous year, which was at a loss of £5 million.
THE WHY? Feelunique profited from the surge of consumers switching to online shopping as the pandemic hit, with the e-tailer stating that expanding its choice of brands and products allowed it to achieve growth.
