Firmenich appoints new Chief Human Resources Officer

Fragrance and flavors company Firmenich has appointed Mieke Van de Capelle as its new Chief Human Resources Officer following her move from Perfetti Van Melle.

Van de Capelle is replacing Helen Wyatt and will report to CEO Gilbert Ghostine as a member of the executive committee and will be based in Geneva.

Van de Capelle has a wealth of experience in consumer goods across Europe, the US and Asia and has had a particular focus on being a strategic partner for growth. She has held other positions at Electrolux Corporation and Sara Lee Corporation, where she took on roles of increasing responsibility, culminating with the role of Vice President Human Resources based in the United States.
