Firmenich’s Vice President Sustainability Partnerships, Dr Bérangère Magarinos-Ruchat, was awarded Ethical Corporation’s Head of Sustainability of the Year award at the Responsible Business Awards ceremony, held in London last week.

CEO Gilbert Ghostine said, “Firmenich has a 120-year heritage of leading its business responsibly and with the highest ethical standards. Bérangère’s unwavering commitment to sustainability has touched the lives of countless people around the world. She deserves this honor and we are very proud of her.”

In her acceptance speech, Ruchat commented, “I truly believe in inclusive growth; embedding sustainability into a company’s core business. Throughout my career, I have worked with public and private organizations who understand that sustainability is not a trend, but a way to do business with a long-term focus. I am proud to share this award with my 6,500 colleagues as well as the Firmenich clients who are making a difference in the world every day.”
